        STIMULATION
What stimulates a mind to write?
What are the scenes that come to sight
That will make words run and flow
Like sweet waters in fast rivers go?

It could be something said or seen,
Or thinking of what might have been,
Or just seeing someone walk by,
A movement that catches the eye.

Then a poem or a story can bloom
So ideas flow until there is little room
For naught else until the task in done
And the story is all told and done.

What stimulated a composer of music sweet?
Does he picture scenes walking down the street
That will become a might sounding symphony,
Listen to words that flow soft and sweetly?

I hear lovely music and a poem I can write,
Every sound brings a thought to my sight,
Do you think it works the other way round,
Reading a poem inspire such joyous sound?

Many things stimulate the mind for good,
The world is full of inspirational food,
Feast on the beauty of the simple things
Then be stimulated and so creativity bring.
