DANCING NORTHERN LIGHTS
Did you see the northern lights dance across the sky
Just after the sun did fade away and slowly die?
A dancing, graceful lady beneath the stars light,
A northern joy seen that will fill you with delight.
Did you see the crescent moon, just new born
Glowing with radiance until the start of dawn?
It comes in brilliant glory the world to awake,
And so many a multicoloured lake doth make.
Have you ever seen the stars glitter at night
Like a black cloak full of heavenly light?
Myriads at a glance to take your breath away
As you seek to find the dipper and milky way.
A night without clouds so see its true glory,
Inspiration to write some haunting story,
A night when it seems to sleep would be a shame,
For its beauty you ever wish to regain.
