NO RAIN
The heat is oppressive,
Humidity is very high,
Temperature excessive,
The rain clouds float by.
White clouds everywhere
Holding refreshing rain,
It would clear the air
But we look up in vain.
Thunder clouds just gather,
A large white solid mass
Of moisture, cooling weather,
But they very quietly us pass.
Maybe a little rumble sound
To let us know they are there,
Then an odd raindrop found,
But they roll going elsewhere.
We need the rain all around
Why wont the torrents fall?
Its been weeks Ill be bound,
Come as a blessing to us all.
