DINNER BY THE LAKE
High on a rocky ledge by a shimmering lake,
Of a special evening repast we did partake,
The lake below was so peaceful, the trees
Danced quietly in the gentle warm breeze.
Fun and laughter came from the diners there.
There seemed was a feeling of magic in the air.

A picture perfect scene everything fresh and green,
Nothing much worldly could anywhere be seen,
The balcony made you feel as if you were in the air,
It was as though we were one with nature out there,
We could see a bald eagle flying at a great height,
Good food spread before us, whetting the appetite.

Rocky lodge is a good name, a good place to dine,
Where the food is first class, the scenery sublime,
Away from this worlds fast and mad, hectic pace,
It colours pale cheeks, puts a smile on any face.
Come with us next time and gaze as you sit and eat,
Let nature fill you along with good food to greet.
