THE NEED FOR SELF ESTEEM
Do we mock God if we think we are of no worth,
Esteem ourselves as nothing as we sojourn on earth?
As we look around and see God’s great handiwork,
We as humans are His great masterpiece of work.

Fashioned in His image, just lower than angels made,
Potential to reign in heaven, we need not be afraid
That we are of not of worth, for we are of true royalty,
Raised with heavenly parents, a king or queen to be.

Even the worst of sinners has that promise too,
For he can repent and many sinners often do,
So if we are trying our best to do what is right,
We are of great worth in Heavenly Father’s sight.

Do not mock God by saying that you are no good,
That is Satan’s tool, for no loving father ever would
Put down any child, but love them as they strive,
Know you are of worth, with this knowledge thrive.
