IN THE RAIN DROPS
After a shower of rain and everywhere is clean,
The earth refreshed, plants and grass more green,
Have you ever looked at the raindrops all around?
For in each one great beautiful scenes can be found.
There’s one hanging from a leaf soon to be earth bound,
But see the colours of the rainbow glistening in the sun,
A hint of blue sky too, minute beauty too soon gone,
Just for a moment or two great loveliness is seen
In each raindrop, that one a shade of emerald green.
The one hanging from a blade of grass holds a flower,

Both will be gone soon, maybe within this sweet hour.

Another reflects the mighty seas from whence it came,
Please go and look at the raindrops after a shower of rain.
