TELL ME OF SUMMER.........................................(Pantoum)

Tell me a tale of summer, when the wind blows sweet,
Tell me of green trees swaying gently too and fro,
I’ll think of a walk in green grass to rest winter weary feet,
For winter is long and cold and I love dear summer so.

As you tell me of green trees swaying gently too and fro,
I rejoice as I feel that sweet summer is now on it’s way,
For winter is long and cold and I love dear summer so,
I will wait impatiently for summer to come and stay.

I rejoice as I feel that sweet summer is now on it’s way,
If I close my eyes I can feel the warm rain on my face,
So I will wait impatiently for summer to come and stay
And smell and see all the flowers, and a butterfly chase.

Let me dream of sweet summer and all the good it brings,
I’ll think of a walk in green grass to rest winter weary feet,
Wander at will by a stream and hear all the birds that sing,
So tell me a tale of summer, when the wind blows sweet.
