LOVE OF GOD(This is a Sestina)
Sweet joy comes from a heart full of deep feeling,
Joy of living found in the life of the caring,
Grateful joy seen when nature is showing
Her best robes to those who in nature rejoice,
Living life to the full, by God’s rules living,
Joy always found by those constantly serving.
Yes, always try to do good and never tire of serving
Those around you, show them kindness and feeling,
Then sweet joy will flow through you like clear living
Water coming from our God, who is glad we are caring,
Who, when we follow Him well, His heart does rejoice,
For as we strive hard to give, His great love we are showing.
Every day to us our dear God His love is showing
Never once as we breath will He ever stop serving,
Look all around at natures great beauty and rejoice,
See the bounteous loveliness that bring joyous feeling,
Hearts ever gladdened as we know more of His caring,
For the beauty of nature makes life so much worth living.
Look and agree however poor or rich, life is worth living,
Gaze at the trees, flowers or wild beasts when they are showing
Through thick deep forests of green, this shows His caring,
The sweet joy as a pet has a litter of young, she is serving
As mother and guardian and provider with tender feeling,
Come and love nature let your loving heart constantly rejoice.
Rejoice in the harvest when all is gathered in, yes, loudly rejoice,
Raise your voice up to heaven let God know that life is worth living,
Let tears of gratitude flow in joy, don’t hide this wonderful feeling,
That way for all your blessings true thankfulness you are showing,
Tell others of natures gifts helping understand that God is always serving
Us with all the things He gives and never ending is His tender caring.
So loving, kind, so patient is our Father above in His constant caring
Every heart should sing His praises every voice be willing to rejoice,
Because of His great love we should ever others be serving
For that is the real secret of deep joy found in everyday living
Think of the great love dear families can be forever showing
The wonder of eternal His love, one day understand that feeling.
So live a life full of caring and in joy you’ll be living,
Never cease to loudly rejoice, continually be showing
You are willing to be serving so God’s love ever feeling.
