THE HANDS OF GOD
God’s hands are your hands to do good deeds, it’s the only way,
How will you feel when you look at them at the end of the day?
Will you be happy for all the good these hands have done,
Be closer to heaven as some battle over evil you have won?

God’s hands would be loving hands full of tender care,
Hands that would be able to spread His love everywhere,
Hands outstretched offering kind help to those gone astray,
The hands of God need your hands, so be willing to obey.

God’s hands would be strong, firm not wanting to let go,
Hands that the way to truth and light will gladly show,
Hands strong enough to help someone carry many a load,
Hands with sweet mercy for all, overcome every cruel goad.

God’s hands would hold wisdom in their tender, firm grasp.
Can your hands gain wisdom so many wanderers may clasp?
Hands that know what God would always have them do.
Oh, yes, God’s hands are wise hands, a gift given to you.

God wants us to have His hands, hands willing to pray,
So your hands will serve well through every long day.
Loving, strong, wise, willing hands so all may truly know
That you serve God in heaven and His love want to show.
