FORGIVENESS
We are told by a loving Father everyone we should forgive,
That way we may be worthy one day in Celestial glory live,
Sometimes it is hard when great cruelty or evil has been done,
But we must forgive or our own forgiveness can not be won,
However deep the hurt or however great be the pain
Being willing to forgive will help us to heal again.

When fierce anger lurks still or is buried deep within,
Surely we should cast it out and so be free from this sin
There can never be sweet peace or long lasting happiness
If we hang on to bitter memories, God your heart can’t bless,
For there is a barrier built up of hate and unnecessary pain,
Pray that you may have the love to forgive and true peace gain.
