WEIGHT LOSS
No potato chips, no chocolate bars,
No cream cakes, Oh for a few spars
To cheat and melt the weight away,
Exercise hard at least twice a day,
So why am I heavier than before?
It is something that is really a bore,
Muscle weighs more than fat they say,
So as muscles come and fat fades away,
You look so skinny, but no weight is lost,
All that big effort and at what great cost.
Cut down on potatoes especially deep fried,
Or in lovely butter mashed, enjoyment hide.
No cream soups, fill up on a lettuce leaf
And a tomato, and celery, oh the grief!
I have just made sausage rolls I forgot,
And I was carried away almost ate the lot.
Oh well Ill worry about putting on weight,
If losing it has nothing to do with what you eat,
Ill just try willing it off me and see who I beat.
