BRIANS QUARTERLY HAIRCUT
Off he went to the barbers on his bike if you please,
Short all over please, he always says with ease.
Sometimes his sideburns are all shaved away
And I wondered if that would happen today.
Hes home, and to my joy his sideburns were still there,
To me it adds distinction, gives him a handsome flare,
And so easy to find and so easy to describe you see,
Just rub my hands down my cheeks, a smile you see
As they point you to where the lost one can be found .
They may get trimmed a time or two to keep them straight
But only through the heat of summer do they meet their fate,
Now that fall is now come and winter is on its way,
He surely will make a good Santa you hear people say.
But whether or not those bushy whiskers are to be seen,
It is the same loving Brian that has always been,
For the outward appearance of figure and face
Does not really matter, its how we run the race.
