More poems about our Daughters

FOR OUR DAUGHTERS ON MOTHER’S DAY
The joy of motherhood is spread when lovely daughters come your way,
I would like to mention them all and show our love on this Mother’s day,
Each one a special treasure given, sent to us from God’s heaven above,
Each one lighting our lives and enveloping us with their special love.

Heather Joy was our first born, a sweet gift so long waited for,
With dark curly hair and big eyes that did so lovingly implore,
A smile that lit the whole of her face, now a mother of three,
The whole family bring much joy to my husband and me.

Ruth was the next daughter placed for a short while in our care,
But passed up to heaven and we know one day with God up there
We will rear her then have more grandchildren to love and adore,
We will strive to be worthy so on us those blessings will pour.

Rebekah Faith came later to join our growing happy family,
A bundle of fun and energy, who moved as fast as could be,
Now she is grown and has a boy and a girl of her very own,
More grandchildren to cherish yet they are nearly grown.

David married Sharon, another dear daughter came our way,
With cute dimples that brighten our lives nearly every day,
They have three children two girls and a new baby boy,
Each one a treasure as well each child a bundle of joy.

Thank you dear daughters for all the love that you bring,
Thanks for the grandchildren that makes our hearts sing,
May you all be blest with love and joy beyond compare
And know if we are needed we will always be there.
