THOUGHTS ON SUSAN
I would love to know Susan and call her my friend,
A paragon of virtue, a loving message always send,
For you live and love the gospel everywhere you go,
The light of Christ and true charity constantly show.

A ray of sweet, golden sunshine, instead of being sad,
Turning all your pain and suffering into something glad,
The family call you blessed, remember you with love,
And I pray they will aim to be with you in heaven above.

A tom boy who can be as gentle and as soft as a turtle dove,
Someone who lives life to the full, knows how to really love,
Those pain laden shoulders of yours you carry with a smiles
And even as you struggle you still want to go the extra mile.

If one day someone hears the night owl softly call your name,
Telling them the Master needs you now to be free from pain,
And you go to greener pastures with many blessing in store,
For you taught all who knew you to love the Saviour more.

Do not weep at the loss, husband and Susan’s children dear,
She will be free from hurt and her loving God will be near,
Imagine the joy she’ll know as her great energy returns anew,
Maybe playing sports, remembering all the games she knew.

You are blest all those who loved and knew dear Susan well,
And I pray that she will live awhile and who but God can tell,
Live long enough to see the blushing bride and handsome groom,
And maybe see all her favourite flowers come into bloom.

But if not she will be there, smiling, tears of joy in the eyes,
Welcoming a new daughter, a bigger family, to her a great prize,
So enjoy every moment to this great person I never knew,
And may the Lord bless the family in all they are going through.
