THE QUALITY OF WOMANHOOD
SONNET 88
The quality of womanhood is great,
Developed with eternal love so sweet,
Given wisdom each new day to soon greet,
God blessed them for at some future date
They will guide children in their earthly state,
As mother, teacher, a kind face to meet
In a world where sin trips innocent feet.
Love and kindness and the patience to wait
For the right time to teach, but not too late.
A woman’s caring ways follows God’s beat
Of the drum, many prayers offered so sweet,
To help them to teach love and never hate.
Woman’s dear qualities comes from above,
Part of heaven, human hands filled with love.
