        FOR MOTHERS DAY
Tune - How Great Thou Art
Sweet mother dear who worked so hard for me,
Taught me to pray to god on bended knee,
Who soothed my pain with words of understanding
And all my joys and sorrows gladly shared.

Refrain
Oh, mothers dear, how sweet is your face,
Filled with Gods love, Filled with Gods love.
A mothers love is deep with purity
And will last through to heaven above.

Who gave me strength when weakness overcame me,
Who led me safely by my trembling hand,
Brought to see the love of God around me,
And led me safe to find eternity.

O mother dear on this your special day,
We sing your praise to send you on your way
Rejoicing in the knowledge of your love,
And guiding all Gods children up above.
