M NAMES FOR GIRLS
There’s the usual Mary, Martha, Marie and Maria as well,
Pretty and well used names for girls who on earth do dwell,
Not so common is Mariah by just adding an H there
The name then seems so much prettier I do declare.
There are names that I call pompous like Millicent and Maud,
Names like Myrtle, Mandy and sweet May that with one accord
Speaks of love and comfort, while Mavis, Molly and Maisie
Seems so full of fun and laughter and heads that are a little hazy.
There are many names not mentioned in this rhyme of mine,
The poem would be much too long, I would run out of time,
Many M names can speak of beauty, fun, laughter and love,
It is not the name but the acts that will lead us to heaven above.
