SINGING
The child sang as she played, such a sweet sound,
The world, at the moment, an opera star was found,
Do I hear an angel sing her mother kindly said
Or was it my own little Mary singing instead?
The childs eyes danced with joy and happiness,
Well struggle so you can have song classes I guess,
At eight she started to learn how properly to sing,
Oh, how much joy that singer to others did bring.
Now if that mother had scolded the child that day
Sent her sadly to her room in a different way,
Would she have ever reached her potential at all,
Would she have known the joy of a curtain call?
Dont stop a child from singing even if they cant sing,
For you never may know what great joy music can bring,
A singing child is a happy child dont take that away,
But sing along with them, and so brighten up your day.
