A BRAND NEW BABY

A baby is born, a brand new world to greet,
Everyone a stranger, no sweet familiar face to greet,
From the very start, life is not easy, many challenges greet
Each soul that ventures forth from heaven so to greet
The world with faith, stride forth each new day to greet
With courage what ere comes your way for you to greet.

Every soul on this earth born should know of love,
Be engulfed in parents arms, entwined in pure love,
No cruel word should crush from a heart true love,
No bitterness, no gall cloud a child’s path of love,
Let them believe the whole world is filled with love,
Be cradled in warmth, security and eternal love.

Now child as you grow, learn to be gentle and strong,
Stand up for the truth, do not be weak, but strong,
Even if the body is weak, make your spirit strong,
Live life to help others who may be not as strong,
Gather up the weak and weary, teach others to be strong,
If you have the Lord with you, you will always be strong.

Now child just born, I wish that you may know joy,
Find in the simple things in life beauty and gain joy,
Look at the clouds in a sky of blue and seek for joy,
May the flowers that cover the earth fill you with joy,
Find a mate to love and so you in turn will have the joy
Of family, treasure it, keep it safe, enter heaven with joy.

Press on child through life, never thinking of evil,
Be kind and good to all men and always shun evil,
Send a smile to someone who is lost in ways of evil,
And guide him to the light and he will forget the evil,
Aim high so heaven is your goal where no evil
May enter, be an example and show how to avoid evil.

And last of all new child born, grow up being always kind,
Some word to a lonely soul so he may learn to be kind,
Share your worldly goods to those who are not kind,
Do a good deed, so enable you to be just and kind,
Think of others before yourself and so be truly kind,
And then you should receive in your life, like kind.

So child born on this earth in these troubled days,
Live and love and be loved through all your earthly days,
Be kind and good and aim for heaven and endless days.
