FLOWERS OR WEEDS
I wonder in the Garden of Eden were
there seeds
Of dandelion and buttercups and sweet
rag weed?
There among the roses and lilies and the
marigold,
For in the scriptures this part of creation is
not told.
A meadow full of wild flowers and
hedgerows too
Gives joy and fragrance spring and summer
through,
Even in the fall when the wild flowers
still gently bloom,
I am sure that in heaven for these there is
some room.
