DECISIONS
When I was younger and vibrant decisions were easy to make,
I knew what I wanted and the step in a direction then take,
I’d listen to others and consider them good ideas come to mind,
But now age is creeping up decision making is quite a bind.

What shall we have for lunch? Dinner choice is harder still
It’s not the cooking or preparation that I can do with a will,
It’s working out the question of just what will it be today,
A low fat, low salt low cholesterol to come our way.

Shall we eat in or go out to dine and if so where shall we go?
Every idea that comes to mind a decision seems to show,
Dress up or go casual or just order something and stay in,
Whatever we make up our minds to do, decision has to win.

It’s not the decisions between doing something right or wrong
Now we are older and wiser the choice is like a sweet song,
But as for eating three meals a day and choices have to be made,
Decision making wise or foolish over food has surly began to fade
