        FANCYING THINGS TO EAT
Today both my husband and I fancy funny things to eat,
Things that on our table we should never ever really greet,
I fancy some pork sausage rolls, lots, not just one or two,
And my husband a nice chocolate fudge cake to chew.

Now there is a problem for we should be cholesterol low
In all that we consume, and as everyone does truly know
These fancying items are high on the cholesterol scale,
Shall we give in for once and see our doctor turn pale?

My home made rolls I know have much too much fat
And the recipe for a fudge cake by leaps beats that,
Maybe the store bought ones will not be nearly so bad,
But if we cannot have some we will both feel rather sad.

After all it is Easter and goodies are around everywhere
And not to have a treat now and then would seem unfair,
So to my normal shopping list I’ll add these lovely things,
Then pray hard when blessing it, no harm to us they bring.
