        NEW IDEAS FOR RECIPES
My husband is a meat and ‘taters man you see,
So new ideas for recipes do not come easily,
Beef, pork and lamb and a nice pot of hearty stew,
So the ideas for a different meal is very hard to do.

He is not fond of chicken, turns up his nose at ham,
And both these meats are hard to make look like lamb,
He will eat potatoes roasted, chipped, baked and boiled,
But if they are scalloped he says the meal is spoiled.

Left over meat he’ll eat with another ‘tater meal,
But to fancy it up to him there is no meal appeal,
Turkey three times a year for him is quite enough,
He classes Turkey A La King as really fancy stuff.

He does love most fish as well, except poor old sole,
It does not have enough taste to make a meal whole,
Now to make things worse we are on low fat diet,
Cholesterol and salt are out, meals so sometimes are quiet.
