FAITH AND FEAR
If we had total faith in Jesus, would we ever know fear?
Faith to carry us through life and feel His strength near,
The two words do not fit together, fear should flee away
If we had enough true faith to carry along every day.
Faith to travel undaunted along a fearful stretch of road,
Faith enough to know we can carry the heaviest load,
Faith to be a witness and never show any fear or be afraid,
For you know you speak the truth so you’ll get heavenly aid.
Faith is more than praying and asking for what we need,
Is more than when in an awkward spot to Him plead,
It is knowing without any doubt at all that He is there,
Part of your being, your every moment willing to share.
Faith is a great gift given to all people far and wide,
A gift we should develop and never wish to try and hide,
A gift of loving kindness that takes all our fears away
If we follow the Master and His example every day.
