More poems about Writing.

        REKINDLE THE SPARK
Words are the life blood of a poet’s mind
Once it starts flowing you can still find
Thoughts coming like inspiration sweet,
Rekindle the spark and sadness will retreat.

Write poems of great wide open spaces afar,
Imagine a man on a horse or playing a guitar,
See him by the fire at the end of a hard day,
Let him then sing all your harsh sorrow away.

Cheer yourself with a song about a happy home,
A place to return to full of friends after you roam,
Deep down in a lonely heart the talent still lies,
Come on, write a cowboy poem, tears in your eyes.

The words will heal you as you let talents escape,
Cover yourself in a warm campfire blanket or cape.
Let your wife hear the words in her home up above
So she can go on writing the music that you do love.

Share the talents on the internet, send joy far and wide,
Please dear friend, do not let your splendid talent hide
Beneath a carpet of sorrow, let your heart now soar
To talents that you knew, use them like you did before.
