HOW YOU FEEL
It depends on how you feel that helps you do things each day,
How you feel is the watch tower that sets your pace along the way,
Today Ive felt lethargic and my heart seems in quite a flutter,
It does reduce my activity even if the home is in quite a clutter.
Yet there is a smell of home made bread wafting on the air,
A bread machine for Christmas, Id not use I did declare
But when one fancies fresh bread and you feel far from well
The gift is now very important and gives us a lift I can tell.
Another few minutes and the bread will be finished and done,
A nice part of the meal without effort we have truly won,
Just add all the ingredients in the right order to receive
A loaf of bread made and no effort made this to achieve.
I am glad that I felt under the weather and wanted fresh bread,
The idea is gone that it would not work is now out of my head.
The very first loaf has just beeped to say the task is complete
And I am not totally exhausted, not feeling dead on my feet
