LIVING DANGEROUSLY
I am on a low cholesterol diet no fun at all
But my heart is kind of wonky, as I recall
Since my heart attack, careful I have to be
But sometimes some foods just grab hold of me.
The other day a lovely pork roast I did buy,
I was good I ate the lean meat and I did sigh,
For there was the drippings of that sweet meat,
Something I know that I should never ever eat.
But this morning I opened the fridge door
And I could not resist the temptation any more,
Toast and pork dripping was quickly on my plate,
Just one slice should not really affect my fate.
Once in a while I just have to live dangerously,
Of all diet cares and worries to be quite free,
I dont think that small amount will do much harm,
Ill try my best to work it off and sound the alarm.
