SNOW ANGELS
Some folks never seem to grow up, stay young all through life,
Manage to smile and overcome all the struggles and the strife,
Stay young at heart although the body ages just a bit too fast,
And even as seniors they want to life pace to be quite fast.
But they may have to slow down some, walk instead of run,
Change their old ideas for having games and lots of fun,
No more roller coaster rides well, maybe just one or two,
Just one go on the flume ride before the visit is through.
One thing though that most of us oldies can try and do,
Although many laugh and giggle they wish they were you,
Is after a nice heavy fall of pretty white crisp fresh snow
Is to go outside and make snow angels wherever you go.
Thats what my husband did this morning on his walk,
I know through a small town there will be the usual talk,
Not gossip, about the new old people who recently moved in,
Maybe might be ready for what is called the loony bin.
