NATURE’S TREASURES
The treasures of dear nature are boundless,
Too many for me in one poem to address,
From the grandeur of mountain peaks up high,
To a river or stream running quickly, clearly by.

The rich soil of a garden tended with care,
And the song of the birds on the evening air,
The fragrance of flowers, the hum of the bees,
And the whisper of trees in the gentle breeze.

The roar of the sea or the peace of the duck pond,
To touch a rose bud and feel natures sweet bond,
Hear the rain beat like drums, see lightening flash,
Just after the thunder has made a very loud clash.

Each line could be a poem and I’ve told only a few
Of the treasures of nature that come gliding through,
Choose your own list and write many verses or prose
And prove with joy in your heart you to can compose.
