WANTING A CAT
Since we have moved we have not had a pussy cat,
For at the moment it is not practical, I realize that,
But the comfort of the purr and the loud call for food,
Their I rule attitude, can often make them rather rude,
Yet they are very special and I miss their pesky ways,
In hide-away places sometimes like to romp and play.
A body on your chest at night making breathing hard,
With eyes so imploring they look like a picture post card
Saying,Im the best looking creature you have ever seen,
Much better than all the others pets that have ever been.
I must admit they love to rule like some great king or queen,
In the massive animal world they rule mighty and supreme.
Their antics as little kittens keep you laughing nearly all day,
Even if draperies and pantyhose are wrecked along the way.
Every home should have a pet, a dog is good that we know
But he needs to be taken out often, in the rain, sun or snow,
A cat will use a litter box, if they wish go out on their own,
To have both pets is good but they may fight over an old bone.
And life would never be lonely no family member feel alone,
However many people or pets, the cats rule on a chosen throne.
