THE NEAR NORTH
There are so many sights to please in the near north,
Sights to treasure and remember visions of great worth,
Snippets of beauty by the thousand to the ever seeking eye,
Come north of North bay and be fed as you drive slowly by.
Have a camera ready, also paper and pencil as well,
Stop and gaze at the loveliness, let your heart swell
And send your praises to Him who reigns above
For all the natural beauty He gives us with love.
Glimpses of lakes with islands reflecting so clear,
Then breezes come and many pretty waves appear,
All guarded by many trees of every shade of green,
Soon all the grandeur of fall everywhere will be seen.
Come north and stay awhile, enjoy the glory and the power
That the good Lord gives us, on us His bounty shower
So very freely as if He boldly, yet quietly tries to say,
Observe and see it all, youll build your own earth one day.
