REFLECTING MIST
Have you ever seen a lake when the
mists lie low
Still wrapping the trees in gentleness,
love to show,
The sun shining, now reflecting the perfect
stillness there,
Doubling the beauty for us in the cool
morning air.
Even the mist is reflected making a sweet
ethereal sight,
The two mists dancing together showing us
a new light,
They bind together as one the mist and its
reflection there,
Then the mists rise heavenward, like an
unspoken prayer.
The sun is brighter now yet still some
mist remains
To give us special beauty, at least no
one complains
About each sight, that all appear to me to
be heaven sent,
And for the rest of that day being full of beauty I
was content.
