A GOOD PLACE TO EAT
Yesterday was my birthday and we found a
good place to eat,
The ambience was serene and relaxing
a real good treat,
The waitress was full of smiles as pleasant
as could be
The food came quickly, smelt good and we
would then see
If the soup and pickerel were worth eating, the
cooks up to scratch
When we tasted the food, the Country Kitchen went
on our eating patch.
The food, in plenty, was indeed worth a special
birthday meal
And I am sure we will be going there
a great deal.
Friends we will tell and family sometime
bring along
For everything we tasted was like my own
birthday song.
Thank you Country Kitchen for a wonderful
birthday treat,
We really should book a day when we often
come to eat.
