More poems about Children.

PARENTS NEEDS
Parents need a lot of hands when children are small,
Having many things to do at once, heeding every call,
With extra eyes at the back of the head so they can see,
That helps them to stop worrying, not get all panicky,

When children are small parents have very little sleep,
New babies need feeding often, toddlers into bed creep,
Teething and sickness many nights parents pace the floor,
Next morning have to be as busy as ever, tiredness ignore.

As they grow older and some independence comes their way,
Continue on to teenhood, then off to university one sad day,
You look back lovingly and remember them as all small
And hardly remember any of the hard times you had at all.
