HOLIDAY WEATHER
For over a month now the weather has been wonderful,
A few showers at night but the days never seemed dull.
This morning the wind was cooler and big clouds rolled in
To rain on this Canada Day to me would be a great sin.

The weather man told us ‘cooler temperatures with rain’‘
Promising maybe some sun, but tomorrow would be nice again.
Parades, Parties, picnics all planned for the great hot outdoors.
I can just imagine the fun as with heavy rain it does pour.

Thinking back to when the rain came down for most of the day,
It was Victoria Day weekend when bad weather came our way,
It’s no use blaming the poor weather man, or give him the sack,
If anyone is to blame its Mother Nature who true care does lack.

Her timing could be better, show she is human, does care.
The beauty she displays with its flowers and trees fair,
All the creatures that roam bring us much happiness,
But the timing of her weather is quiet often a proper mess.
