A SIMPLE PRAYER
Sometimes when I get ready to say a prayer
There comes a special feeling in the quiet air,
It is as though He is waiting there just for me,
And I tell my praises and thanks run ever free.
I feel that at times if I were to just open my eyes,
To see Him standing there would be no surprise,
For His presence is felt very tangible and clear,
He seems to be listening and me He wants to hear.
A simple prayer from a loving child’s kind heart,
Will bring Heavenly Father to do His great part,
If we listen after prayer and stay awhile quite still,
We will be able to know our dear Father’s will.
