THE GIFT OF POETRY
I am so glad that some people enjoy
my poetry,
Gives them inspiration, or let a smile
wander free,
If I can cheer someone, help out in any
way at all,
I feel in some small way I answer God’s
sweet call.
The poem may be short few lines or
rather long,
It could tell a tale or a spiritual thought or
be a song.
Whatever comes from my heart I want to
radiate His love,
Express how much He really cares and share
blessings from above.
If I brighten a day help someone know the
Master better,
Removed the weight of some cruel or too
heavy fetter,
Then I am glad for the gift the Lord has kindly
given me
And hope that it stays with me now and through
all eternity.
