More poems about Spring

IN THE AIR
Can you feel it, can you hear it, spring has come at last,
There should be no more snow or winter’s icy blast,
The sun shone warm today to help take all cold away,
It’s in the air, yes, sweet spring is here at last to stay.

Something stirs within me as friend spring comes along,
I feel like spring cleaning, in my heart a constant song,
Sort out the closets, wash down many a wall and shelf,
Then go into the awaking garden and really enjoy myself.

With spring comes new life, hope blooms like flowers,
Leaves come to bare branches making pretty bowers,
So spring has arrived with better weather still to come,
At last the battle against cold winter is finally won.
