WHERE TO GO FOR HOLIDAYS
Where shall we go for our holidays? Shall we go at all,
Shall we go in nice warm summer? or wait until fall?
When you are retired you do have a wider choice,
But the limitation of funds sends out a warning voice.
We will stay in Canada for there are so many things to see,
So many wonderful places where we would both like to be,
Its getting there thats the problem, flying would be nice,
But wed have to put eating, buying things all year on ice.
Driving is quite fun and can be part of the happy holiday,
Going fast or slow deciding whether to go on or stay.
North, east or west or variances of these points to go
And a short distance south-west interest we can show.
But nature is sweetly calling, so is the rolling of the sea,
We want to seek for nature, find her in all sweet revery.
Wander through places that are not often seen by man,
This could be another part of our holiday crazy plan.
One day we will set out not quite sure where well be
When night falls, heading which way then wed see,
Find a solitary place where nature reigns supreme,
Relax and feel the peace and remember, then dream.
