TENDER MERCY
There can be sweet comfort when in sorrow,
Freedom from heartache and pain,
Answers to prayers when there seems no tomorrow,
There is hope smiling once again.
A feeling of peace can sooth a sad troubled mind,
For His tender mercy is there,
Such a great feeling of love will His children find,
For he does for all forever care.
His tender mercy guides you safely through deep sin,
He knows your every need,
Even before we ask He knows all our feelings within,
Of every action He takes heed.
All we have to do is be aware that He wants to share,
Always is a friend indeed,
Do not ignore the tenderness that He shows with care,
A spiritual feast he will ever feed.
Watch out for His tender mercies He show us all each day,
We need not be disheartened at all,
Feel that guiding hand or voice that sends his mercy your way,
Know when you have that sweet call
And those tender mercies will continue to grow and multiply
As the holy spirit will guide,
No task will be too great as we strive for heaven on high
Never in darkness your light hide.
Tender are His mercies to those who trust in Him,
Our love always shining through
Will help us understand His ways, not change at a whim
But be forever strong and true,
Then His tender mercy will surround us in love every day,
He will always be close by,
You’ll feel His hand in your hand and wipe a sad tear away,
Know it’s Him when winds do sigh.
