VERBALIZE
The ability to put into words what is
in your heart,
To have phrases flow like clear water to
do their part
In expressing how you feel and how much
you do care,
A gift given to us that can bring us joy
beyond compare.
To say or to write just the right things
is needed always
And can be developed and nurtured
all your days,
Try to put onto paper just a simple
passage or two
And the gift will come as you try to
struggle through,
Stop and think of what words to say
before you speak,
Then the Lord’s guidance in this venture
often seek.
Press on and verbalize, practice a little
day by day
Because without a doubt this blessing will
one day stay.
