STAY ALIVE
When getting older, don’t let ‘can’t be bothered’
get in the way,
Send those negative thoughts from you, don’t
let them stay,
Never wallow in self pity or I’m too old for
things like that,
Just keep on trying and living in full, don’t stay
in with the cat.
Live life to the full every moment that you
breath and live,
Even if you slow down a little there is
still plenty to give,
A creaking back and a weakening heart
can still move,
And with the power of prayer miracles
you can prove.
The Lord gave us a life span but the length
we don’t know
But while alive true living, even in ailments,
we can show
That life is worth living, don’t waste the gift
from God above,
Live life to the full to confirm of God’s
everlasting love.
