More poems about Food

WHAT SHALL WE HAVE FOR DINNER
What shall we have for dinner seems
a constant cry,
We know we have to eat each day or we
will surely die,
Bur choosing is the worst part that you have
to do every day,
When the children were little I planned
the meals this way:
While shopping I made a list of food that
we would need,
Then the meals were planned and laid out
and all took heed
Of the plan and know one was ever heard
to ever say
Can sometimes please suggest to me what’s
for dinner today!
Now there are only three of us to dine together
most of the time,
And nearly every day my husband will hear
me often whine
What shall I cook for dinner today, ideas are
just fading away,
Please will someone suggest some ideas
for a meal today?
When you come to the time when there are
fewer left at home,
The children married and with their
families do roam
Away from the table except when they come
for a feast,
Then I know what to cook, ideas flow then
and at least
For a main meal I won’t have to stop and
think and say,
Someone help with ideas for our mail
meal for today.
