More poems about Spring

HAVE YOU EVER
Have you ever felt a touch of spring after winter’s cold?
Realized that soon you will see countless flowers unfold
Their sleeping petals and stretch up to the bright sun,
Knowing that at last the glories of spring has come.

Have you ever heard a chorus of birds sing each day,
Just as the sun awakes and so send you on your way
With a joyful heart, knowing that now all is well,
For sweet spring at last to earth has come to dwell.

Have you felt joy when bulbs show signs of life,
Have overcome the bitter cold of winter’s strife,
Seen the hungry birds at the feeder eat frantically
And then bathe in cold puddles full of utter glee.

A lover of spring, with it’s new bright awakenings,
The hope and the life that this season always brings,
A breath of warmer air to wipe away frost and snow,
Much tender love does the spring to me kindly show.

Have you ever felt that sweet spring will not come?
Not show her kind face so that the cold winter’s fun
Will stay and no rebirth will lighten this lovely place
But it forever snow all the year through keep a white face.

No! Spring is coming I feel her today as I breath deeply,
Fill my lungs with warmer air, as the signs of winter flee,
No one can deny that our friend has now come to stay
To drive all the winter worries and cold far, far away.
