HONEST LOOKING MAN
Look at him! He looks so stern!
As if your trust he had to earn,
Strict yes, but also fair as well,
From his expression you can tell.

If a lawyer he’s be for the defence,
If a judge use love with common sense,
If a school teacher he’d have no cane
Just his disapproval would cause pain.

I would like to meet him shake his hand
Make his acquaintance call him friend.
He looks honest wouldn’t wheel and deal,
He’d make a good doctor, help people heal.

Whatever his occupation him I would trust,
Able to depend on him if I really must,
Maybe he was important in nineteen fourteen,
Good if a really worthy politician he had been.
