SWEET ELEGANCE
Where did he see her standing, or in which
book did he see
This tall stately creature so full of grace and
flowing beauty,
No gracious Easter lily fair or the slender
fragile daffodil
Could ever really capture the perfection that
she did fill,
No fancy jewellery was needed to enhance
her in any way,
Her face serene and gentle with a sweet coyness
that did display
A perfect pure maiden, demure, felicitous
and full of peace,
I am sure who married her, his love would
never ever cease.
