        THE WORDS OF JESUS
Sometimes His simple words said it just right,
Whatever the situation clarity came in sight,
Every time they tried to trap him He found a way
To show truth and light with everything He did say.

If we could follow His example never speak a lie,
Think of the times they trapped Him being all sly,
He told true stories and bold statements every time,
With a simple sweet beauty that was truly sublime.

Render unto Caesar that which belongs to Caesar,
Jesus said, and to God which is His, away went fear
And the sly ones turned away not knowing what to do
For light and truth came as always conquering through

Who is my neighbour one asked and the tale did unfold
Of the good Samaritan that has been since forever told,
The lost sheep and good shepherd touches many a heart,
Listen to the words of Jesus and always do your part.
