FOR KATHLEEN AND MIKE
I was feeling rather hopeless, being sick and no use at all,
Not getting better fast enough, my serving speed at crawl,
Oh yes, I still can write poems, but is that really enough?
What about helping others, being there and that good stuff?
Congestive heart failure has really slowed me right down,
I tire too easily, not now working for my celestial crown.
Then dear unknown friends, called Kathleen and Mike I see,
Helped me realize that somehow of some use I still can be,
Thank you for your ‘WOW’ that kindly came my way,
For the Lord still blesses me to inspires other each day
