TALK TO THE SHEPHERD
I think we have all heard the saying that when
you can’t sleep,
Just talk to the good shepherd and don’t
count His sheep.
This thought came to me one night so very
loud and clear
When sweet sleep would not come and
I could hear
The sound of a voice as I tried to say
a humble prayer,
‘I am so glad that you spoke to me I know
of your care.’
Comfort came over me as to the dear shepherd
I quietly spoke
All fear vanished, I rested and when I at
last awoke
The pain had eased and I knew that all
would be fine,
For He is only a short prayer away that dearest
friend of mine.
