CHRISTMAS WISHES
When you think of those you love and care for,
you want their best wishes to come true,
For good health and joy and happiness,
enough money to see them through.
Yet sometimes these things don’t happen,
hard times come scurrying along,
Then the best thing you wish for is that
they meet their trials with a song.
For where there is heart ache and sorrow,
there is a deep and abounding love
That keeps loved ones together as many
prayers sail up to heaven above.
So along with health and joy and happiness
and many loved ones close and true,
May God’s greatest blessings
be ever bestowed in abundance on you,
May the sweet love of Christmas
come forever shining through.
